PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
ASTM A333 Alloy Seamless Steel Pipe belongs to Seamless Steel Tube for low temperature pipeline.
The low-temperature steel pipe is a medium-Carbon Structural Steel tubes, which has good performance in both cold and hot and low-temperature steel pipes, and has good mechanical properties.
Low-temperature seamless steel pipes are mainly used in the production of ethylene, propylene, urea, synthetic ammonia, compound fertilizers, as well as process equipment such as washing, purification, desulfurization, and degreasing in the pharmaceutical industry, as well as low-temperature equipment manufacturing, ultra-low temperature refrigeration, and ultra-low temperature liquefaction. Gas pipelines and their fittings, such as petroleum gas cryogenic separation equipment, air separation equipment, etc.
There are two main types of cryogenic pipes, austenitic and ferritic. The difference in crystal structure determines that the austenitic cryogenic tube has no brittle transition temperature in the low temperature range. Generally, it can be used without verifying its low temperature impact toughness. However, GB150-2011 stipulates that when the working temperature is not lower than -196°C (low temperature range), the impact test can be exempted. When the working temperature is -196～-253°C (ultra-low temperature range), it needs to be executed according to the design documents. The ferrite cryogenic tube has an obvious low temperature brittle transition temperature, and has its applicable low temperature range.
