PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Galvanized Steel Sheet is divided into cold rolled Galvanized Steel sheet and hot rolled galvanized Steel Sheet, namely soft galvanized steel sheet and hard galvanized steel sheet.
hot-rolling
Hot rolling takes slab (mainly continuous casting slab) as raw material, after heating, it is made into strip steel by rough rolling unit and finishing rolling unit. The hot steel strip from the finishing mill is cooled to the set temperature by laminar flow, and then rolled into steel strip coil by coiler. The cooled steel strip coil shall be subject to different finishing procedures according to different needs of users. Wire rods (leveling, straightening, cross cutting or slitting, inspection, weighing, packaging and marking, etc.) are processed into Steel Plates, flat coils and slitting steel strips. To put it simply, a billet is heated and rolled for many times, and then trimmed and corrected into a Steel Plate. This is called hot rolling.
cold rolling
Cold rolling: take Hot Rolled Steel Coil as raw material, remove oxide scale by pickling, and then conduct continuous cold rolling. The finished product is hard rolled coil. Due to the cold hardening caused by continuous cold deformation, the strength, hardness and toughness of the hard rolled coil are increased. The plasticity index decreases and the stamping performance becomes worse, which can only be used for parts with simple deformation. Hard rolled coils can be used as raw materials for hot galvanizing plants, because all hot galvanizing plants are equipped with annealing wires. The weight of the hard rolled coil is generally 6-13.5 tons, and the hot rolled pickling coil is continuously rolled at room temperature.
