PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
American SAE1055-1065 is equivalent to Chinese 65 spring steel.
65 spring steel, that is, 65Mn steel, has the tendency of overheating sensitivity and temper brittleness, and the tendency of water quenching to form cracks. The machinability of the annealed state is acceptable, the cold deformation plasticity is low, and the weldability is poor. Applicable to: leaf springs subject to medium loads, coil springs with a diameter of 7-20mm, spring washers, and spring rings. It can also be used for parts with high wear resistance, such as grinding machine spindles, spring chucks, precision machine tool screws, cutters, collars on helical roller bearings, railway rails, etc.
