Stainless Steel Pipes can be divided into smooth pipes and threaded pipes (threaded steel pipes) according to the state of the pipe ends. Threading pipes can also be divided into ordinary threading pipes (pipes for conveying water, gas, and other low-pressure pipes, which are connected with ordinary cylindrical or conical pipe threads) and special threading pipes (pipes for petroleum and geological drilling, which are connected with special threads for important threading pipes). For some special pipes, in order to compensate for the impact of threads on the strength of the pipe end, the pipe end is usually thickened (internally, externally, or internally) before threading.
Usage classification
