A36 Carbon Steel Coil

ASTM-A36 is a common Carbon Structural Steel standard formulated by the American Standards Institute (ASTM) and is widely used in the field of structural steel.

ASTM 36 implements standard ASTM A36/A36M-14. This standard covers structural quality Carbon Steel profiles, plates and rods used in riveted, bolted or welded structures of bridges and buildings and general structural purposes.
The chemical composition of A36 Steel Plate is: C: ≤ 0.25, Si ≤ 0.40, Mn: ≤ 0.80-1.20, P ≤ 0.04, s: ≤ 0.05, Cu ≥ 0.20. The tensile strength of A36 steel plate is 58~80 Ksi (approximately 400~550MPa), and the yield strength is 36 Ksi (approximately 250MPa).
