Classification and characteristics of galvanized steel sheets

Galvanized Steel Sheets are welded Steel Sheets with hot-dip galvanized or electro-galvanized layers on the surface, and are generally widely used in construction, home appliances, vehicles and ships, container manufacturing, and electromechanical industries.
According to the production and processing method, it can be divided into the following categories:
①Hot-dip Galvanized Steel Sheet.
Immersing a thin Steel Sheet in a bath of molten zinc
Allows a thin layer of zinc to adhere to its surface.
At present, it is mainly produced by continuous galvanizing process, that is, the coiled Steel Plate is continuously immersed in a zinc melting tank to make a Galvanized Steel Plate;
②Alloyed Galvanized Steel plate.
This kind of steel panel is also made by hot dipping, but it is heated to about 500°C immediately after leaving the tank, forming an alloy film of zinc and iron.
This galvanized sheet has good paint adhesion and weldability;
③ Galvanized steel plate.
Galvanized steel sheets produced by electroplating have good machinability.
However, the coating is very thin, and its corrosion resistance is not as good as that of hot-dip galvanized panels;
④Single-sided and double-sided galvanized steel sheets.
Single-sided galvanized steel sheet, that is, a product that is galvanized on only one side.
In terms of welding, painting, antirust treatment, processing, etc., its adaptability is better than that of double-sided galvanized sheet.
In order to overcome the disadvantage of not being galvanized on one side, it is a galvanized sheet with a thin layer of galvanized on the other side, that is, double-sided galvanized sheet;
⑤ alloy, composite galvanized steel.
This is a steel plate made of alloys or even composite coatings of zinc and other metals such as aluminum, lead, zinc, etc.
This steel plate not only has excellent antirust performance, but also has good coating performance;
In addition to the above five types, there are colored galvanized steel sheets, printed coated galvanized steel sheets, PVC laminated galvanized steel sheets, etc.
But currently the most commonly used hot-dip galvanized steel sheet.
